Interested in Volunteering?

There are several ways to volunteer with the GAP Rescue to help save animals.

For more information on volunteering, please contact Steffenie Vela at steffeniegaprescue@gmail.com.

We are always looking for great Fosters that can take a dog into their home until we can adopt them. The pets are posted online, and the Foster will interview potential adopters to find the best home for them. Fostering is very rewarding and keeps pets from danger in an overcrowded shelter.

Another great way to volunteer is at the Euless Animal Shelter or GAP Adoption events. Once a week, the high school GAP girls work at the shelter to photo new animals for postings, walk and play with them, clean cages and give any other attention they require.

Once a month, GAP hosts Adoption Events at local stores such as Marshall Grain and Petco to promote adoptable pets. We also host two Pet Fairs a year at Trinity High School. These are the biggest fundraisers for GAP and offer low-cost vaccines and micro-chipping to the community.
